What do 13 photographers do for FUN?

This weekend was the second annual get together fondly referred to as SMOOTFEST. Thirteen photographers from all over the country came to hang out with me. We had so much fun photographing our beautiful model today! I will share more images soon. In the meantime, enjoy!

Woodland Baby

This sweet baby was all bundled up in the woods. We tucked him in between the roots of a wise, old maple tree. Someday baby will run and jump and climb the old maple tree. Photographs to follow in seven to ten years.

YMCA

Next time you are downtown, stop by the YMCA. I have been working on a display for the YMCA for a few months. I photographed members participating in a variety of activities. The images displayed in the lobby show members swimming, lifting weights, kick boxing and MORE! Today was the unveiling. I was invited to meet the YMCA board members during a reception. Thank you to the State Journal Register for attending. Keep your eyes on the paper for the whole story.

If you didn't see the Channel 20 news yesterday, you missed seeing my daughter give an account of the bus accident she was in. Luckily everyone involved ended up being ok, but it was really scary! Thanks to a neighbor for this snapshot of Emily being interviewed!

It seems like forever ago when I gave my daughter Hannah Montana tickets for her birthday. Actually, it was August. Fast forward through the first day of school, lots of homework, sleepovers with friends, a trip to the pumpkin patch and here we are. We are going to see Hannah Montana on the opening night of her BEST of BOTH WORLDS tour in St. Louis! I take that back. We're not just going to the concert, we are in the FOURTH row! WOW! I will report back with a total play-by-play of the whole concert experience. Check tomorrow!

So glad you waited!

This beauty didn't make time for senior pictures when she was a senior, but that didn't stop her. She had seen the images I had done for several of her friends and that was all it took to get her to book her long awaited senior session! Boy am I glad she waited!
